Charity Cycle

Cycling duo braved thunderstorms and torrential rain to travel the length of France to raise more than £2500 for charity.

Paul Hoskins, Operations Director and Mickey Helps finished the 620 mile journey from Montpelier to Dieppe in 5 days.

Setting off on May 22 the fundraising pair expected this to be the most grueling challenge yet as they were carrying sleeping, eating and cycle kits with them.

Paul and Mick are no strangers to the odd challenge as part of their Codgers World Tour series they have already cycled the length of the UK, Ireland and London to Paris in 24 hours along with swimming the English Channel.

This time their were raising money to help people with Cystic Fibrosis which is a life limiting disease.

As always the challenge did not pass without incident in the event the French Police were kind enough to escort them both off a busy motorway and point them in the right direction.

The question is what will be the next chapter of the Codgers World Tour??
