Key Facts
Cotton Gardens Estate
Diamond Build Plc successfully completed Cotton Gardens Estate contract eight weeks ahead of programme.
The passive fire upgrade project worth £800,000 was commissioned by Lambeth Living as part of their continued programme on high rise buildings throughout the borough.
Work entailed the installation of new doors and screens in the common lobbies along with riser cupboard doors, the upgrade of lighting, signage and fire stopping to risers.
Terry Elliot, the Site Manager said our aim from the very outset was to improve on the Client’s timetable. With this in mind we put together an ambitious programme from which our procurement strategy was developed to ensure goods were available early.
I also believe our knowledge in this specialist field and good relationship with the Contract Administrator enabled us to deliver the project in a shorter period.
On completion of the project we received third party accredited by FIRAS for the installation.
