Refurbishment of the Auditorium within Islington Town Hall - Grade II Listed, late 1920’s built and opened in 1930, constructed in the restrained English Baroque and Neo-Classical style designed by E.C.P. Monson.
Works include repairing and refinishing the existing polished oak paneling, renewing the stage drapes and curtains together with the stage and general auditorium lighting, heating, interior wall and floor finishes, refurbishment of back stage areas, eg, dressing rooms.

Burlington House remained in occupation as refurbishment works commenced. The contract saw the four storey office/electronics research building developed by renewing the roof coverings, replacing windows and the completion of other external remedial and decoration works.

October 2007 saw the beginning of the refurbishment and alterations works to council offices carried out in 7 phases which were programmed to allow all council departments to fully function throughout the contract, and involved working close to the general public.
The works included complete strip out, new electrical & mechanical installations, partitioning, floor and ceiling renewals, disabled persons facilities, fire protection works including fire escapes and new glazed front entrance.

Refurbishment of 1st and 2nd floor offices, roof training room, basement and outbuilding.
Works included complete strip out and renewal of existing mechanical and electrical services. Alterations to layout involved demolition of load and non-load bearing walls, installation of steel beams, suspended ceilings and partitions,. complete with new finishes to all areas.

The works involved forming a new museum at basement level within an existing building along with extensive alteration and refurbishment. The construction comprised of a sunken entrance with a paved area, access lift, disabled persons WC, and seating area.
The library above remained open for business as usual throughout the works, which had to be re-designed following the discovery of buried service pipes and unstable ground.
The excavations to enable the new entrance’s construction involved the removal of 300 cubic metres of spoil. As the site was on the corner of a busy thoroughfare, strict vehicular and pedestrian traffic management had to be in place to ensure the safety of the public.

Diamond Build's work with the Trust has lead to this new building, renovation and alteration of the park. The works included: Grove Café and golf kiosk (new single storey brick structures, boating building renovation and conversion of boat store to cafe and vice versa).
Works included foundations, external timber cladding, pitched slate roofs, electrics, plumbing, gas, lighting, disabled persons WCs, covered verandas, polycarbonate canopy on powder coated steelwork and disabled persons access ramp.

Phase one involved the external cleaning of the building, as well as security features comprising fencing and metal shutters.
Phase two was the refurbishment of the centres Spa and changing room areas.

Phase 1: The alteration of club house including Pickett lock’s new changing rooms, the refurbishment of WCs and new disabled person’s WC, as well as further alterations to bar.
Phase 2: This phase required external cladding works following demolition by others (of the main sports centre).

Phase 1 - General refurbishment and conversion of ground & first floor residential floors to offices for Council use.
Phase 2 - Refurbishment of offices involving remodelling and fit out to provide new offices, archive area and 16+ Resource Centre including new cookery room. The works were carried out in the ground and first floors of a 14 storey block with flats above, and included extensive upgrading of data and communication services, upgrading of mechanical and electrical systems, new partitions, floor coverings and decoration.

The refurbishment of reception areas at various council offices including the Civic Centre took place across the borough of Haringey during 2010.
The works included partitions, electrics, doors and frames, carpet, grinding polishing marble floor, and decoration being either replaced or restored. All of the centres remained open while the work was carried out.
